Why Use Cold Spark Machines?
The Cold Spark Machines have been a big hit for Party All Day Rentals ever since we added these to our rental items in early 2023. The Cold Spark Machines shoot off a burst of sparks that are safe for indoors and outdoors. The spark that comes off the machines is a combination of zirconium and titanium particles that get heated up and are then shot out of the machine itself.
These machines have been rented from Party All Day Rentals for mainly weddings. At the weddings themselves they have been used for introduction of the newly weds, during the first dance, and lasty and the sendoff after the wedding reception or celebration. The sparks provide a fun and safe way to celebrate these weddings and add to experience created at your venue. Some other uses for the machines have been at birthday parties, anniversaries, retirement parties, as well as company parties.
How do the Cold Spark Machines work?
From Party All Day Rentals you can rent anywhere from one machine up to four machines right now. Each cold spark machine is packed into a container that includes:
- 1 Cold Spark Machine
- Power cord for machine
- Machine link cord to connect machines
- 10ft White extension cord
- 1 remote control (the single remote control will control all machines)
The machine will come preloaded with enough powder for 3-5 minutes of sparks. This all depends on the height that you choose to run the sparks. You can change the height anywhere between 3-10 feet. The remote control allows you to change the height of sparks with the push of the buttons. You can also start and stop the sparks as often as you like.
The remote control easily fits in your hand and has 4 buttons on it. They are labeled A, B, C and D. The A button is used to start the heating of the machine at the beginning of the setup. The rest of the buttons are used to start the sparks shooting out and at the selected height, see the chart below to reference heights of the sparks:
- Button A (used to heat the machine)
- Button B 1st Gear is 4ft
- Button C 2nd Gear is 6ft
- Button D 3rd Gear is 10-12ft
How much powder do you need?
As we mentioned earlier, the machines all come pre-loaded with enough powder for 3-5 minutes of cold sparks. This time length is determined by the height of the sparks you choose to run them at. See below for a rough estimation of the time length:
- 5 minutes of sparks with Button B at 4ft
- 4 minutes of sparks with Button C at 7ft
- 3 minutes of sparks with Button D at 10ft
The remote control allows you to easily change the height of these sparks, so you could go from 4ft up to 10ft just by pushing the different buttons. So you time length could vary somewhere in between our estimations depending upon your height choices.
If you wanted more powder we have that available. For example at a wedding, if you wanted to have sparks at different times during the newly wed first presentation, or the couples first dance, or during their sendoff, we do offer additional powder packets that you can purchase that can easily be loaded in the top of the machine. Each additional powder packets give you the same time length of 3-5 minutes of additional sparks.
